In 2002, Randi expanded her interests to include television. Since then, she has written for national and local newscasts in Canada. She has also produced several short documentaries. One, a profile of Muslim female athletes, was included in the 2002-03 season premiere of the CBC show, Sports Journal.

The second documentary is better. It talks with Canadian athletes who, as Muslim women, usually decide to sacrifice pro careers in order to obey the Koran’s rules on physical modesty.”
